I promised pictures of my neighbor’s puppies, and here they are. They will soon be leaving for new homes, but meanwhile, when they’re out, I’m surrounded by squeaking puppies. So here they are with Sande, the proud grandma. Enjoy.

Hello,
I could not sleep tonight and I have been thinking about all the wonderful times I had vacationing on the Oregon Coast so I searched on Google for a blog written by someone who lived on the coast and by divine providence – I found your blog!
Your posts are wonderful and it was so great to read all about the weather etc. I have always wanted to live on the coast and now I can do it a little via your blog.
Your writing is wonderful. I really needed your inspiring words and insignts. It has been a tough year for me and your words and beautiful photos replenished my soul.
And just in case you wonder if anyone is reading your blog. I bet there are a bunch of people like me that you may never hear from who truly are blessed by your work.
On behalf of all of us, I thank you for taking the time to share your life and your insights!
